Getting into my strengths ties directly into my interests. I am a strong writer, and voracious reader. Therefore, I write constantly especially on whatever issue or topics I may be reading at any particular time. However, while I read daily, I do not necessarily read everything I come across. It tends to need to pique my interest.

This lends into a strength of communication. From what I intake, I am better able to express myself in a variety of manners: speaking, writing, and performing. For speaking, it is about finding the correct word and then expression through a variety of attempts. While I would prefer to speak as I mean from the start, I find speaking with another and others to often be a process of determining what needs to be said through elimination of the unnecessary. Through writing, it is the same process, but I get to choose what is said prior to publication. Through performing, it is often a method of engaging with the audience: a back and forth rapport that culminates in a story whose meaning is understood by everyone participating.

I am also deeply empathic. While my sympathy needs a bit more work, I am able to work with people on an emotional level, approaching them as they wish to be entreated (in the older meaning of the word) rather than coming from a position of dominance or subservience. I approach all people equally.

What this leads into is an ability for multi-tasking. My strengths are versatile enough I can fit in just about anywhere in any organization. I want a conflict-free working environment, and prefer to do any and all behind the scenes work to create a workplace that will see any job finished quickly. From my skills, I see myself eventually as a mediator and/or intermediary.
