The students in this class are so young. The age of the children seem like they could present a whole entirely different challenge for an English teacher. It would be part-time child tending, and part-time teaching. One of the students was completely overly competitive, and became very emotional, which required the intervention of another adult to help calm the child down.
I imagine these sorts of challenges could very well crop up for a teacher who is in desperate need of a job, and unsure of what level they would be most successful at. I should prepare myself for possibly needing to teach at this level. Jobs could well be in short supply, and such an opening might be all that appears.
The sort of lessons this age cohort of students requires is quite a bit more energetic than older students. There is quite a bit more colourful drawings. The sort of teachers needed here definitely need a cross section of varied talents, and a great deal of energy, and even more patience.
