A small class. It seems to be a sort of grammar school. A bit of research proved this to be the case. Looking into the company, it seems to be fairly hit or miss in its reviews by former employees, although telling whether these are legitimate reviews, and not rivals is always difficult.
Regardless, such companies do seem ultimately where many teachers end up due to circumstances. As far as I can understand, such are more for transitioning from the teacher’s home country to the host country. One should not find themselves trapped in such positions unless there are further prospects for advancement available.
The teacher in the lesson seemed energetic. He had a loud, clear, and sharp voice, and a manner somewhere between professional and cynical. The students seemed to like him, and ignored his sharp tone that his voice would fall into, and I wonder if that may have been his microphone, changing his tone.
The intimate nature of a small classroom is appealing, but it can also seem restrictive. It does not seem there is much room for changing up the lessons in such a space, but sometimes teachers have to make do with what’s available.
One never knows what the futures holds for them. This may well be the sort of place I first find employment overseas. I do look forward to whatever may come.
