This short lesson follows a trend I am noticing among ESL lessons: keeping it short and simple. There are no long lectures. Activities move “forward” with pauses only to add additional vocabulary whenever necessary. These activities are constantly moving with the students fully engaged. Losing forward momentum could well mean losing engagement with the students.

Something I’d to take away from this lesson is keeping things simple. While I disagreed with her usage of Arctic for Winter, I can understand why’d she choose this as she wanted consistency in terms of places rather than introducing something new like seasons.

It is a shame the video is so short. It’d be nice if there was more to watch, but there seems to be much edited out. The drawback to recordings, I suppose.
